MIRROR CUT UNITIZED MINI DISCS

High Density Unitized Discs are a combination of several layers of non woven abrasive material compressed and impregnated with resin. All the international grains with different diameters and thicknesses are available. These discs have been developed for cleaning and finishing operations and they are highly conformable while maintaining durability. They do not contaminate the work surfaces. They can be installed on electro-tools and pneumatic tools with the appropriate adapter.

MIRROR CUT UNITIZED DC DISCS

High Density Unitized Discs are a combination of several layers of non woven abrasive material compressed and resin impregnated and then bonded on a fibreglass support disc. These new abrasive tools don’t replace the traditional “Flap Discs” but they are appropriate for finishing applications including light deburring operations with the added benefit of saving on tool changes.

Applications:

  • Excellent surface finish on stainless steel where it is necessary to have flexibility
  • Light deburring after laser cutting delivering a uniform finish
  • Surface preparation before welding, galvanic or painting treatments
  • Finishing application after Flap Discs
  • Removal of thin welding lines

Depending on the grinding angle and surface to be ground, Flap Discs are available in two types:

Type 27 – has flat surface and can achieve maximum efficiency when applied at a work angle of 0-15 deg angle. These discs are the most suitable for grinding flat surfaces.

Cutting discs or trimming discs is another one of the tools which have been developed by our technicians. It is a multi use tools and will work in many different materials even sandwich materials, which can often be difficult to work.

BLACK LABEL CUTTING DISCS: A trimming disc designed for working in heat sensitive materials such as aluminum, fiberglass, plastic and copper.

Time saving when used for repairing fiberglass boats as this process will be much faster than if sanding down the fiberglass.

If you need to trim of some aluminum this tool will work fast and is easy to handle, without heating up the aluminum, could be in the production or repair of trains or trucks.
