Description

Premium quality Ceramic Flap Disc. Made with genuine VSM Hi-Tech Ceramic Alumina grain for best performance on all materials  and angle grinders. Top coat abrasive material resist loading and act as a coolant. Fibreglass Backing. Shrink wrapped in 5/10s. Also available in white box of 5/10.

Recommended for use by demanding professionals who do not compromise on quality and performance. Great solution for all metals.  Extremely tough and long lasting in coarse grit. Use for heavy grinding, weld blending and chamfering on all steels and hard to grind materials.

Ceramic Grain-based products are ideal solutions where an aggressive cut and high performance are required.
Such products achieve extremely high stock removal and long life due to their continuous self-sharpening
characteristics. Ceramic grains are extremely hard, making products made with it suitable for grinding
very hard and heat treated metals. Products made with Ceramic Grain are safer to use during grinding due to the
minimal amount of sparks being produced.

Depending on the grinding angle and surface to be ground, Flap Discs are available in two types:

Type 27 – has flat surface and can achieve maximum efficiency when applied at a work angle of 0-15 deg angle. These discs are the most suitable for grinding flat surfaces.

Type 29 – has a slightly conical surface, for grinding at 10-25 deg angle. These discs are the most suitable for grinding contoured surfaces.

Add SAFE LOC (Patented), Quick Change

SAFE LOC is a 5/8″-11 threaded attachment for flap discs. Available for 4 1/2″, 5″, 6″ and 7″ discs with any backing type.

For Item with SAFE LOC Quick Change add S to the end of Item with 7/8″ Arbor Hole. e.g. Item: C5545049 with 7/8″ AH will become C5545049S with 5/8″-11 SAFE LOC.

For Item with 5/8″-11 Zinc Hub add H to the of Item with 7/8″ Arbor Hole. e.g. Item: C5545049 with 7/8″ AH will become C5545049H with 5/8″-11 Zinc Hub.
