The HT7 is a high performance disc floor sander (edger) that delivers unrivalled balance and feel. The choice of professionals, the HT7 delivers the power to tackle the toughest of jobs.

Precision engineered to meet the challenging demands of the tool rental, contractor and professional markets. A powerful four brush motor drives a dynamically balanced metal backed sanding pad. The drive is transmitted through a hardened steel alloy pinion and large diameter phosphor bronze drive gear that will not slip or stall when under heavy load. Motor commutation is via Hiretech’s precision moulded brush block with brass brush holders and constant force brush springs ensuring a smooth, constant power delivery.

Hiretech’s unique metal backed sanding pad gives the balance, feel and touch demanded by the professional craftsman, making it easy to sand a score free finish with a high production rate and fast stock removal when needed.

The HT7 Disc Floor Sander will sand a high quality, score-free finish on hard and soft wood floors, including parquet and any solid wood surface that requires rapid sanding and levelling. The HT7 can also be used on a wide range of other surfaces including some types of decking, fibre board, cork, composition and engineered floors. Ideal for confined areas such as closets, stair treads and sanding right up to the edge of a floor (edge sanding), without damage to the base board, mouldings or skirting.

  • Biased off ON/OFF switch prevents accidental start-up.
  • Powerful 1.5hp 4 pole (brush) motor geared 3:1.

Premium Ceramic Unidirectional Double-Sided Flap Disc engineered for stainless steel and hard metals. Its unique double-sided construction allows grinding and finishing from both sides of the disc, providing excellent versatility, performance and efficiency.

Designed for demanding applications including top and bottom chamfering, blending and grinding on both sides, fillet weld grinding, pipe deburring and inside corner grinding. The ceramic abrasive provides an aggressive cut and consistent performance on tough materials.

Premium quality Ceramic Flap Disc. Made with genuine VSM Hi-Tech Ceramic Alumina grain for best performance on all materials  and angle grinders. Top coat abrasive material resist loading and act as a coolant. Trimmable Yellow Plastic Backing available as T27 only. Shrink wrapped in 5/10s. Also available in white box of 5/10.

Recommended for use by demanding professionals. Recommended for grits 36-60. Extremely tough and long lasting in coarse grit. Use for heavy grinding, weld blending and chamfering on all steels and hard to grind materials.

Ceramic Grain-based products are ideal solutions where an aggressive cut and high performance are required.
Such products achieve extremely high stock removal and long life due to their continuous self-sharpening
characteristics. Ceramic grains are extremely hard, making products made with it suitable for grinding
very hard and heat treated metals. Products made with Ceramic Grain are safer to use during grinding due to the
minimal amount of sparks being produced.

SAFE LOC is a 5/8″-11 threaded attachment for flap discs. Available for 4 1/2″, 5″, 6″ and 7″ discs with any backing type.

For Item with SAFE LOC Quick Change add S to the end of Item with 7/8″ Arbor Hole. e.g. Item: C5T45047 with 7/8″ AH will become C5T45047S with 5/8″-11 SAFE LOC.
